Peterborough United Foundation has launched a new Wellbeing Walk in partnership with Lincolnshire Co-op, aimed at promoting health and fitness within the local community. The initiative kicks off every Tuesday at 10 am from the Peterborough United training ground, encouraging local residents to join in for a 40-minute walk. After the walk, participants can enjoy refreshments back at the training facility, fostering a sense of community and well-being. Jenna Kiely, Community Coach and Walk Leader at the Peterborough United Foundation, expressed excitement about the program, highlighting its role in helping locals stay active. Volunteer Mike Gilham, who has been with the foundation for two years, shared his enthusiasm for the initiative, noting how it allows him to stay involved with the club and support the community. This new walking group is part of a broader effort by Lincolnshire Co-op to promote health through various Wellbeing Walks across the region, with Peterborough United's involvement enhancing its community outreach efforts.
