Peterborough United's League One fixture against Notts County, scheduled for Saturday 3 October, has been postponed. The decision leaves Darren Ferguson's side, who sit 23rd in the table with five points from eight games, with an unexpected break.
Broadcasters had listed the match for a 15:00 kick-off. The club has not yet provided a reason for the postponement or announced a new date for the fixture.
It follows a 1-0 defeat away to Stockport County last weekend, a result that extended a difficult start to the season. Peterborough have won just once in the league, a 3-1 victory over Colchester United on 22 September, and have conceded 13 goals.
Their next scheduled engagement is now the following weekend.
The postponement means Notts County, who are 20th, will also have their schedule adjusted. Both clubs will await confirmation from the EFL on when the game will be played.
