Peterborough United has signed Mahamadou Susoho on a season-long loan from Manchester City. The 19-year-old midfielder becomes the latest City Football Academy star to move to League One. The transfer does not include an option to make the deal permanent.
Manchester City said in a club statement, “Mahamadou Susoho will spend the 2024/25 season on loan at Peterborough United…” “Everyone at Manchester City wishes Mahamadou the very best of luck during his spell with Peterborough.”
Mahamadou Susoho said, “I want to get out of my comfort zone and I feel this loan move will allow me to do that.” “I would describe myself as good in possession, calm and someone who can help the defence and the attack.”
Peterborough United manager, Darren Ferguson said, “I am delighted to get him. It was tied up a while ago, but we were just waiting on Manchester City for the dates.” “He is going to add to our options in the middle of the pitch, we felt we needed a bit more depth in there.”
